Sei Development Foundation Appoints Jamie Finn to Accelerate RWA Adoption

The SEI Development Foundation has named Jamie Finn, co-founder of Securitize, as a strategic advisor to drive real-world asset (RWA) adoption on the Sei network. Finn's appointment, announced September 12, brings 25 years of financial and blockchain expertise to the U.S.-based non-profit.

At Securitize, Finn oversaw the tokenization of over $4 billion in assets, including BlackRock's BUIDL—the largest tokenized U.S. Treasury fund. His role will focus on developing institutional-grade infrastructure for RWAs on Sei. "Sei is positioned to be the definitive chain where you can build the best institutional products and use them confidently in the world of DeFi," Finn stated.

The MOVE signals Sei's ambition to bridge traditional finance and decentralized ecosystems. Finn's prior leadership roles at AT&T, Telefonica, and Ericsson lend further credibility to Sei's institutional growth strategy.
